In affiliate marketing, you’re basically making money to tell people about your favorite products.
First, sign up with an affiliate program. A lot of first time affiliate marketers sign up for Amazon Associates because it’s easy to get into and beginner friendly.
Once approved, you’ll get access to a specialized link. Make posts about all your favorite products and use your link to tag them on your social media accounts.
Whenever someone uses your link to buy something, you get paid. Cha-ching!
The best part is, you never have to show your face on the internet if you don’t want to.
In fact, we even use affiliate marketing on this blog to make income.

Dropshipping
Surprisingly, dropshipping is a side hustle that is still making people millions in 2024.
All it takes is for one video of your product to go viral on TikTok and your sales will be blowing up.
And with Christmas coming up, this is definitely a side hustle I recommend starting ASAP.
Don’t believe me? Just go on YouTube and look up “how to make money dropshipping” and research for yourself.

How does this side hustle work?
Dropshipping is a business model where you can sell products without having to physically make or handle them.
The product is sold in bulk by a third-party seller, which you pay a small fee to once you sell the item.
They handle all the hard stuff- storing the product, packing it, and shipping it to all the customers.
All you have to do is make videos advertising the product on your social media accounts.
There are lots of third-party companies out there to choose from. I personally recommend AutoDS because it’ll find potentially viral products for you and has access to 500 million trending products from all around the world.
Lots of millionaire dropshippers swear by it.
After you choose a product, sign up for a Shopify store and connect the AutoDS tool to it. This is how the costumer will buy the product from you.
Lastly, make sure to link that product and your Shopify store on your social media pages.
UGC
Have you ever been on TikTok and scrolled across an ad of a normal person reviewing a makeup product or some moisturizer?
Chances are, those videos were made by a UGC creator from the comfort of their own home using their cellphone.
That’s what you’ll be doing!
The payout can range anywhere from receiving free products to free trips and thousands of dollars of income a month.
How does this side hustle work?
UGC stands for User Generated Content and is a type of content creation model.
Basically, you’ll be a freelance creator. You get hired by companies to create product ads that the company will post on their site.
With this side hustle you can make your own rates, hours, and work from home.
First you need to make a portfolio.
To do this, start by making 4-5 high quality videos advertising products that you already have in your house. The videos should be between 15-60 seconds and should showcase how you use the product and why you love it.
Then go to Canva and use their “website” template to create your UGC portfolio.
Add the videos you made to the portfolio so businesses can see your work and what you’re offering them. Also add your name, who you are, and what you do.
After that, start reaching out to companies via email and DM. Write up a pitch telling them what you’re offering and why they should choose you to create their ad.
After working a few jobs you can add your experience to your portfolio and also start including a rate for your videos.
As with all the other side hustles, marketing yourself on social media is always a good idea!
Start A Blog
You’re probably thinking “Blogging is dead”. Uh, hellooo? You’re literally reading this blog post right now.
There is definitely still money to be made blogging as a side hustle in 2024.
And no- this is not a “I started this blog in 2007” story.
This blog has been up and running for less than a year, and I’ve already been able to make extra income from it. Hopefully by next year, it’ll become my full time income source (stay tuned!).
Not going to lie though, blogging has a steep learning curve. YouTube will be your absolute best friend during this time.
There will be frustrations and maybe even tears, but it’ll be so worth it in the end.
The extra cash will start rolling in and you will be so proud of yourself for this world you’ve created. This side hustle will literally turn into your baby!

Blogger’s make money through ads, affiliate marketing, and sponsorships. Before you can make any money blogging, you’ve got to have a website where people can find your blog.
Making a website can be as easy or as complicated as you make it, depending on how many details you add, what you’re trying to achieve, etc.
For now, let’s just get into the basics.
First, you need to pick a niche. In other words, choose what you want to write about.
The blog topic can be about cooking, lifestyle, beauty, sports- there are endless possibilities.
Next you need to choose a site host. This is going to be where your website lives.
To host your website, I recommend using Bluehost (that’s what this blog uses).
It is beginner friendly, has amazing 24/7 customer support, access to WordPress writing software, and is pretty affordable (about $33 for your first year).
Then pick a domain name for your blog. This is what people will know you by, so make sure it’s a name that you like and that makes sense for your blog.
To keep it simple, a lot of bloggers choose to use their own name (example: firstandlastname.com) or they a pick a name that has something to do with their niche (example: cookingwithcarol.com).
It’s completely up to you!
